Breaking News

Dear Riders,

I received word this evening that Mark was involved in an accident earlier today. He was released from the hospital with minor injuries and some strong medication.

I'll leave the details to him, but apparently he was struck from the side while riding at 40 mph. Several witnesses commented that he flew through the air, helmet bouncing twice on the pavement, and that they thought he was a goner. The helmet and his gear saved his life today.

The K12R is totaled, but this is the least of our concerns at this point. We're glad he's alive and safe.

The plans have changed: I will be departing on-schedule and will head directly to Denver. I'll update you from the road when I know more, and Mark will make a post when he recovers from the shock of the whole matter.

I'm sure he'd love to hear from you: rosenmeier@gmail.com.

For those of you that ride: spend the money on the gear - it was the difference today.

Comments:
I visited Mark in the hospitol last night and he is in good spirits. Marks equipment did save his life and that should be a reminder for all of us who ride to wear ours!!! Good luck with everything Mark!!!

Uh Mark! Like I have told you there are very few people I would miss as much as you if I didn't have you in my life. I need you to always be there for me! Last night was the worst night of my life to date. I praise GOD that he protected you last night!

I wish I could have been there last night, Mark. I'm very glad that you're ok, and will see you soon.

Couldn't stop thinking about you last night and this morning - sending positive thoughts and prayers to you so that you will take the right steps working toward getting through this new trial!

Hey Mark,

God, thank God you're ok, that's the most important thing. Things can be replaced....you can't. Thank God for that helmet. Take care of yourself, see you soon.

Mark, I am so glad to hear that you are ok. When audrey came into my room last night to tell me what happened I got very worried. I prayed long for you last night because I didnt know what happened. I know we dont see much of you but I cant imagine not being able to see you anymore, but praise God we dont have to worry about that. You just get better because you have a long trip ahead of you dude!!! Love ya!

Hey Mark, Waded told me about the accident, I am so glad to hear that you are alright. Good thing you are one of the few riders out there wearing a helmet. What other gear did you have on, just curious!!

Carl
