Packing light
With only 85 days remaining I’m starting to think about what to bring and how to pack it. Here’s my list so far:
- Video camera, tapes, and cables
- D-SLR camera, two lenses, tripod, and cables
- Tablet PC, cables
- iPod, headphones
- Medical kit
- Tool kit
- A change of clothes (shorts, jeans, shirts, shoes, socks), toiletries.

BMW Softbag
or:
BMW Duffle
I'm considering the latter myself.

OK, I went to BMW of Denver this weekend to check out the BMW Softbag and Duffle. Both are amazing in terms of their capacity, design and build quality; however, neither of them are designed for the K1200R. Either can be used with the K1200GT, though. Peter is one lucky bastard. I have to come up with some other solution. Maybe trade the R for a GT??? nah...
